 ABSTRACT

Objective: Dyslipidemia is the deviation fat content of one or more of lipid profil and common in menopausal woman. Becaused the role of decreasing estrogen for activation of lipoprotein lipase enzyme and sensitive lipase hormone. Hence fat catabolism decrease and it will result the increasing of total cholesterol, LDL, TG and reduction level of HDL. prolonged dyslipidemia can cause desease like artheroschlerotic. Aerobic exercise can reactive the enzyme of LPL and HSL hormone in capillary walls and muscles that will help improvement of fat catabolism.

Methods: Type of research is experiment with quasi experimental approach, design is pre and post test two groups design. Sample taken by random sampling. Total respondents are 68 persons who included in middle age. Each group consits of 34 respondents that given a low intensity aerobic exercise. It is 65 % of MHR. Need 80 mins including extra time in core exercise. Other group given moderate intensity with 75 % of MHR and need 60 mins. Perfomed 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Cholesterol, LDL, TG and HDL obtained by blood sampling and examination in the labotary in Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta.

Results:There is influence of moderate and low intensity aerobic exercise with extra time in core exercise to dyslipidemia on menopausal woman with p value of each subject is 0,0001. There is difference influence between two groups in content, namely LDL with p:0,002, p value for TG is 0,006, cholesterol is 0,0018 and HDL is 0,0019.

Conculusions: Aerobic exercise is very significant to improve dyslipidemia on menopausal woman and can apply in moderate or low intensity of MHR.

Key words : aerobic exercise, dyslipidemia, menopausal woman
